Keep Kildrum Clean

Our dog waste bag programme has been running all summer. We would be interested to hear whether you have noticed less dog waste in the area. We do know that one area at Clouden Road was so bad that NLC had to send people out to clean it up.

KCC is supplying free dog waste bags at 10 locations in Kildrum. We give out an average of 185 rolls of bags (15 per bag, so 2775 individual bags) each week. We encourage residents to take a roll if they need it, and politely request that residents take only 1 roll at a time.

This is a huge project, and we thank the KCC volunteers who check the locations weekly to top up supplies. We also appreciate the willingness of the local businesses and organisations to engage with us on this project. Together we can keep Kildrum clean!
